This course is designed to help you understand your options, make informed decisions about carrying and deploying non-lethal defensive tools, and develop greater confidence through hands-on training.

TASER Devices
Learn about two types of civilian energy weapons developed by TASER. We’ll discuss how these devices work, what makes them effective, important considerations when carrying them, and appropriate considerations for their use in self-protection. Hands-on training provides practical experience and helps build confidence and competence.

SABRE Sprays & Gels
Learn about the pepper sprays and gels offered by SABRE, including their features, advantages, and important considerations when carrying them for personal protection. Practice with SABRE training sprays to develop familiarity and confidence with the platform.

By the end of the course, you’ll have a better understanding of several non-lethal/less-lethal personal protection options and the considerations involved in carrying and using them. More importantly, you’ll gain practical experience that can help you make informed decisions about which tools may fit your personal protection needs.
